  • Students of Life present...

"Students for Life, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus" (SFL-CUAMC) was founded in March of 2017 to inspire, educate and promote a culture of life among students, faculty, and staff in our Medical Campus.

Membership is non-discriminatory and open to members of all faiths and beliefs; our members are committed to protect and care for all human life, from conception to natural death. In furtherance of this goal, members also seek to promote respect for all human life at the local, state and national levels, to educate on life issues, to help those in need so that human life is a promising choice and to work with others who share common goals. SFL-CUAMC is an official chapter of Students for Life of America (SFLA).

Kristan Hawkins is a Christian, wife, mother, grassroots activist, author, speaker, and a human rights advocate. President of  Students for Life of America (SFLA), she was recruited in 2006 to launch SFLA full-time operation. Since then, she has built up a dozen student groups scattered around the country to a coordinated national team serving more than 1,200 Students for Life chapters in all 50 states. A frequent speaker and media analyst, Kristan’s expertise includes abortion, feminism, disability advocacy, and healthcare, as she navigates the social conditions and public policy that impacts the human rights issue of our day. She does all this while multitasking as a mother of four children, two of whom have cystic fibrosis. Kristan knows firsthand that all children have value, no matter the perception of their abilities and works daily to be a voice for Millennials and Generation Z who see the horrors of abortion for women and their preborn infants.
