AMERICAN HERITAGE GIRLS (AHG)
Contact: Caroline Vierow (Batorowicz), marcelekb@dvierow.com
About this ministry: American Heritage Girls is the premier national character development organization for girls ages 5-18 that embraces Christian values and encourages family involvement. AHG helps girls acquire and practice life skills in five areas of emphasis: Our Heritage; Personal Well-being, Family living; The Arts, Science and Technology; and Outdoor Skills.
To whom is this ministry open? Any girl, aged 5-18 years, who wishes to strengthen her Christian faith.
What training is necessary? Adult volunteers take online training in safety and leadership skills. Girl members need no training - just an eagerness to learn, grow, and have fun!
What kind of commitment is required? Troop meetings will be held two evenings a month. There may be additional activities and events throughout the year, so family participation is encouraged.
