We encourage you to grow in your prayer life and thus deepen your relationship with God through the Mass, Adoration, and a variety of personal and community prayer methods.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church devotes one of its four sections to prayer and prayer is woven throughout the other three sections. It begins in paragraph 1 with, "God, infinitely perfect and blessed in himself, in a plan of sheer goodness freely created man to make him share in his own blessed life. For this reason, at every time and in every place, God draws close to man. He calls man to seek him, to know him, to love him with all his strength..." Do we not seek Him, get to know Him and love Him in prayer?
CCC 2567 says, “God tirelessly calls each person to that mysterious encounter known as prayer.” and the Bible says, “Pray without ceasing”. 1 Thes 5:17
Our Lady at Medjugorje said, “Pray, Pray, Pray!” And at Fatima said, “Pray, pray, pray very much.”
At Blessed Sacrament, we are offered the privilege of spending time with our Lord in the presence of the Eucharist. This time can unleash God's grace for our lives and the life of our parish, our Church, and our world. We invite everyone in our parish to enjoy the gift of spending time with the Blessed Sacrament. We are currently scheduling times on Saturdays between 7:45 am and 3:50 pm with 10 - 11 am being the Family Holy Hour and First Fridays after the 8 am Mass for an hour in the Church. During the school year, Adoration is offered from 2 - 7 pm in the church on most 1st and 3rd Wednesdays. See the parish calendar for those dates.
